Class of 2025

Class of 2025

A warm welcome to you, the students and families of the Class of 2025! Throughout spring and summer, this page serves as a resource for our incoming students and families, with important information, links and due dates. Please bookmark the page and check your spam folders to ensure you are opening all of your SHC communication. Information in bold may include links to other pages or forms.

In the coming month, we will be posting information for you to find out what classroom resources you need from the 2021-22 Resource and Book List, hear campus updates, and try out for fall sports. We will refresh due dates, information, and links on this page until September 1. By then, students and families will be able to use SHC’s learning management system, Schoology, for announcements, coursework, homework, and updates from groups such as SHC Announcements, the Parent Association, counselors, teams and clubs.

For your planning purposes at this time, you may click here for parameter dates for the 2021-22 school year. Go Irish '25!

5/1: Student and Family Information Survey due. Class of 2025 families have been sent the link to complete this survey. If you have not yet received the link, or need to update your email address, please contact Ms. Veronica Zermani, SHC Registrar, at

5/3: LOTE CHOICE due (link updated 3/31/21.) Select the Language Other Than English (LOTE) and level that you would like to study at SHC! Students with prior language experience are asked to complete a short placement exam.

Note: there will not be a math placement test this spring. Ninth graders will be assigned to math classes based on junior high grades, test scores, and teacher recommendations, and the HSPT.

5/3: VPA SELECTION due. Visual and Performing Arts classes are optional, seventh classes for ninth graders. The link will explain your options and how to show us your artistic talent. Taking a seventh class requires good time management and focus, but VPA classes develop creativity and problem-solving skills, and make for joyful learning!

6/1 REGISTRATION due for Jumpstart, an introduction to learning, technology and Wellness at SHC, facilitated by SHC teachers and student Wellness Ambassadors. All incoming ninth graders are expected to attend one of the sessions. Sessions meet for three half-days and all sessions will meet in-person on the SHC campus (subject to current public health directives). Students enrolled in SHC Summer School should select Session D (which is reserved solely for those students). We schedule Jumpstart sessions throughout the summer, but some sessions do fill up quickly.
