The SHC Chorus features a robust program of seven unique performing groups to fit our students' musical interests and skill level. In our large performing groups, students to refine their technique and shine bright in our Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Women's Ensemble. Students in our smaller ensembles groove to popular tunes in our Vocal Jazz and treble/baritone a cappella groups. Finally, our Jubilee Choir provides music for school liturgies and prayer services. Our program welcomes singers at all experience levels looking to develop their vocal skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships.

SHC Chorus performs regularly for the school community: two major concerts (Christmas and Spring), Lessons and Carols, masses, special events, and sporting events. Additionally, our program holds several outreach and service-related performances and workshops. SHC Chorus goes on tour every year to take part in festivals and competitions nationally and internationally. Past tours include Italy, France, the Philippines, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, England, New York City, and Hawai’i.

Mr. Ryan Lee is an accomplished musician based in the SF Bay Area. As a pianist, he won multiple awards and competed locally (Bay Area, Sacramento), nationally (Iowa, New York), and internationally (Canada). He graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. As a director, Mr. Lee has led numerous local choirs and musical theater productions over the past 20 years. He currently serves as the Director of Choral Studies at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and Music Director for the Bay Area Music Project.
