Location, Location, Location

The City is our classroom. It’s one fo the many perks of being located in the heart of San Francisco: learning often takes place beyond the walls of our academic buildings. The SFJazz Center, San Francisco Ballet, Asian Art Museum, SFMOMA, City Hall, countless high-tech corporations, and the new CPMC Hospital, are all within blocks of our campus, giving our students access to the world that awaits them after graduation.

Community

The strong sense of unity at SHC is perhaps one of our most defining characteristics and by far the most difficult to articulate. When you step on campus, however, you will quickly find that you are accepted as you are, that you are challenged to achieve your most ambitious goals, and that you are encouraged to think big and act authentically.

The Cutting Edge

SHC students have the autonomy to select the technology of their choice with our Bring Your Own Device Program, a philosophy in line with current practices in higher education. Our web-based learning management system combines the best of educational technology and social media to bolster learning and community building. Flexible online courses, state-of-the-art classroom technology and collaborative learning spaces await you.

High Quality Catholic Education Accessible for All

$4.21 million in financial assistance was awarded for the 2018-19 academic year. This is just one way SHC stays true to the legacy of our Founders and our mission to provide the finest education in an inclusive Catholic community of faith.

Go Irish!

More than half of the SHC student body participates in athletics. With 47 teams in 23 sports, you’re bound to find a place to thrive as a student-athlete.

So far during this academic year, our Girls Volleyball Program went undefeated in the WCAL, won both the round robin and WCAL tournament titles, captured their first CCS Open Division title and advanced to the NorCal semifinals. The Football Program also advanced to the CCS playoffs and won the annual Bruce-Mahoney game. Lastly, both boys and girls Cross Country teams advanced to the State meet. That’s a lot of success in only five months!

Discover your Creative Side

SHC’s Visual & Performing Arts Program engages hundreds of students ready to explore and share their creative talents. At SHC, arts are an integral aspect of our holistic approach to education, and we support all students as they discover their passions. An accomplished faculty, professional-level theater, a newly renovated Chorus Studio, and most importantly, talented young artists make our VPA Program second to none. Come to our next show, and see for yourself!
