Honoring Martin Luther King Jr
The SHC community gathered in the Pavilion on Wednesday, January 17, to honor and remember the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr during a memorable and thought-provoking prayer service. The service featured readings and prayers by the Black Student Union and staff and culminated with guest speaker Nate Tinner-Williams', co-founder and editor of Black Catholic Messenger. He provided words of wisdom and hope and encouraged all in attendance to "Let us love one another." A special thank you goes out to the SHC Choir and Campus Ministry for their efforts.
