Back-to-School Night Highlights
Hundreds of Sacred Heart Cathedral (SHC) parents and guardians toured the campus at Back-to-School Night yesterday. This annual beginning-of-the-school-year event is a unique opportunity for parents to learn more about all the resources and educational tools available to their students.
For those who wanted to further educate themselves on SHC’s learning management system, Schoology, a help desk was available for parents to speak with a staff member who could assist them in navigating the system. Parents could also meet with SHC school counselors and college advisors during a meet-and-greet session on the La Salle Campus Plaza.
Most importantly, parents had a chance to interact with their student’s teachers in their respective classrooms to hear more about the classes preparing their children to become service-oriented leaders in the future.
