Fightin’ Irish Soccer Academy provides instruction for players from beginner to elite levels.
Athletes will be placed in groups with participants of similar age, size and ability to ensure a beneficial learning environment. Throughout the daily sessions the coaching staff will cover various topics ranging from skill development to tactical organization, field awareness and positional play.

Academy Director: Jeff Wilson (Boys Soccer)
Coach Jeff Wilson has been the head coach of the SHC’s boys soccer program for the last 17 years and has led the Fightin’ Irish to five CCS appearances including the Division III finals in 2010 and CCS titles in 2011, 2015, and 2016. He was named CCS Honor Coach for the 2009-10 season. Coach Wilson has an extensive playing background, which includes collegiate soccer at San Francisco State University. He has since played for several semi-pro teams throughout the Bay Area. He also serves as a California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) coaching instructor, a head coach for the Northern California Olympic Development State Team and the Olympic Club Men’s Teams, San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club Director of Coaching and holds the FIFA-recognized United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National “A” and Youth Licenses.
Academy Director: Chris King (Girls Soccer)
Coach Chris King has 17 years of experience coaching soccer, including a total of ten years in two stints at SHC. Coach King is the head coach for the SHC girls’ team who finished runner up in the CCS Division III Finals in 2015. He is also currently the head women’s coach at the Academy of Art College. He has also served as the head coach for several successful San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club teams on both the boys and girls side. Coach King has a United States Soccer Federation National “A” License, a National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Diploma and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Regional Goalkeeping Diploma.
