The Voice: A Choral Workshop
Do you enjoy singing? Do you want help developing the skills to be more confident with your voice? In this workshop students will enjoy performing musical theater, pop, and multicultural choral music. Singers will study the art of song interpretation, audition tips, and music theory. Healthy vocal techniques will be studied both individually and in groups. The workshop will culminate with an open class where parents and family can come hear the successes of the week.

Instructor: Michael Kerschner
Michael Kerschner is the Director of Choral Music at Sacred Heart Cathedral. He has been teaching music to high school singers for 20 years. Choirs under his direction have received an enthusiastic following, performing in over nine countries and at the National Conference of the American Choral Directors Association. Before coming to SHC he was the Artistic Director of the acclaimed Young New Yorkers’ Chorus.
