Sport sciences is a camp class that will study the structure and function of the human body and how the body works during sports and physical activity. The class will be conducted in a student-centered proactive learning environment and will have a strong emphasis on current topics in anatomy, fitness, exercise and sports performance. The week-long course will go over the different organ systems and apply what we have learned by completing different labs in the fitness center. By the end of the week, your child will learn how the human body works through various exercises, sports and different physical activities.
Cost: $450 Early Bird. $525 after April 11, 2025
Ages: Students entering 7th-9th grades

Instructor: Nate Villanueva '06
Mr. Nathan Villanueva is an educator, fitness director and athletic performance coach with a decade of experience. He has proven success training and teaching, designing and executing personalized training regimens in division 1, high school and club athletics. From the weight room to the classroom, Mr Villanueva as an educator has a strong background in developing and implementing engaging curricula in anatomy, exercise physiology and fitness courses in high school education.
