Why can rockets fly? Which physics principles are in action at the playground? How do musical instruments make sound? How do lasers and mirrors work, and how can they be used in games? Regardless of what our interests are, physics can help us understand the how and the why. Join us as we combine hands-on activities at SHC with visits to popular attractions around the City to see science at work in some of our favorite places. Students will build water rockets, roller coasters, and circuits as well as a variety of other hands-on activities while learning physics along the way. Be ready to design, build and rethink designs as you learn more about how objects interact!
