Math: The Art of Problem Solving

Do you enjoy puzzles, riddles and/or math? Would you like to learn cool trick to solve complex problems? Then Math" The Art of Problem Solving is the course for you. Students will be given creative mathematics problems and riddles to enhance their problem solving and critical things skills. Students will also create their own unique and playful problems that they can share with family and friends!

Cost: $395 Early Bird. $450 after April 15, 2022

Instructor: Alexandria Cervantes
Alexandria Cervantes is a first year mathematics and computer science instructor at SHCP. Originally from Salinas, CA, Ms. Cervantes attended CSU Monterey Bay where she obtained her B.S. in Mathematics and completed her M.S. in Mathematics Education at the University of Illinois. This is Ms. Cervantes' 7th consecutive summer teaching computer science summer programs, she has previous taught C++, Python and Javascript. Beyond her love for Mathematics and Computer Science, Ms. Cervantes teaches Crochet 101 at SHCP as an academic exploration.
