Life Science Exploration

June 13-17, 2022 | 9 am-3 pm

We don't need to look far to find great examples of Biology in our daily lives! Let's spend a week exploring the life sciences from your own individual body systems up to our larger California ecosystems! We will examine and compare digestive systems, problem solve fire management solutions, and visit some local sites to broaden our understanding of the interconnections of the world around us.

Cost: $395 Early Bird. $450 after April 15, 2022
Ages: Students entering 7th-9th grades in the fall of 2022

Instructor: Francesca Zambrano
Francesca Zambrano teaches Biology and Honors Biology to juniors at SHCP. This is her 7th year as a high school science educator in San Francisco. An Alameda native, she studied Biological Sciences at UC Davis and completed her Master's of Arts in Teaching at University of San Francisco.
