Hall of Fame Baseball Academy
June 8-19 (M-F), 2020 (Session I) | July 6-17 (M-F), 2020 (Session II) | 9 am to 3 pm
Celebrating 33 years, SHC’s Hall of Fame Baseball Academy gives aspiring baseball players a chance to learn the game from a top-notch adult coaching staff. Members of the Academy coaching staff will lecture and demonstrate the instructional phase of the camp. Personalized coaching will include hitting, pitching, infield and outfield, throwing, base-running, sliding, bunting, run-downs and cut-offs. The program is designed to give each athlete individual instruction and attention. Skills will be sharpened and improved. Each athlete will participate in small groups and will spend several hours on the field each day.
SHC boasts a baseball tradition that has sent two men to the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Joe Cronin ’24 and Harry Heilman ’12). Over 150 Fightin’ Irish players have gone on to play at the college level and 18 have signed professional contracts in the last 25 years. Join a winning tradition this summer by learning the basics from our esteemed coaching staff.

Cost:
- $425/session or both sessions for $725 by the “Early Bird” deadline of April 22, 2020
- $475/session or both sessions for $825 after April 22, 2020

Academy Director: Mr. Brian Morgan
Coach Brian Morgan is in his 19th year as leader of the SHC baseball program. His teams have competed in seven CCS playoffs and he has also led two JV teams to WCAL titles. Fifteen of his former players now play at the college level. Coach Morgan played at San Francisco City College and earned a bachelor’s degree in history San Francisco State University. Coach Morgan was also named the 2010 CCS Honor Coach.
Academy Director: Mr. Steve Franceschi
Coach Steve Franceschi is currently the assistant varsity baseball coach at SHC. He has 11 years of coaching experience at the college level. He was the head varsity baseball coach at SHC for 16 years and is a former Balboa High School, University of the Pacific and San Francisco Giants pitcher.
