Crime Scene Investigation

June 23-27, 2025 | 9 am - 3 pm

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to use various scientific methods to solve crimes, Crime Scene Investigation is the course for you. In this week-long course, you’ll learn about the main aspects of forensic science, analyze real evidence from historical crimes scenes, and apply your deductive skills and newly-acquired forensic knowledge to solve complex crimes.

Cost: $450 Early Bird. $525 after April 11, 2025
Ages: Rising 7th, 8th, & 9th Graders

Instructor: Matt Wilson
Matt Wilson has taught at SHC for 19 years and currently teaches Criminal Justice, Advanced Placement Human Geography and Advanced Placement American Government and Politics.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies from San Francisco State University and a Master's Degree Single-Subject Teaching Credential from San Jose State University.  Matt currently coaches Girls Varsity Soccer and has taught and coached for over 23 years.  He has a variety of interests including sports, politics, traveling and cooking.
