Exploring Pathology: Disease Detectives

June 10-14, 2024 | 9 am-3 pm

The human body is made up of wildly complex systems that work together to allow us to do all the activities of life. But what happens when something goes wrong? It is incredibly important that we be able to diagnose problems that arise in the body so we can treat them and let patients live healthy lives again. In this course, students will be the disease detectives: we will learn about the body systems so that we can use the scientific method to diagnose patients’ maladies and prescribe treatment.
