This cooking and culture workshop will give students an opportunity to explore the variety of foods from around the world available to use right here in San Francisco. We will explore our favorite foods, how they are linked to culture, and learn about how to shop and prepare some of these dishes. Students will be introduced to menu planning, flavor pairing, and how food creates community.
Cost: $425 Early Bird. $475 after April 21, 2023
Ages: Students entering 7th-9th grades in the fall of 2023

Instructor: Erin Baldanzi
Erin Baldanzi teaches Ethics and Scripture to juniors and freshmen at SHC, and is an alum herself. This is her 3rd year at SHC, formerly a middle school teacher in San Francisco and in Italy . She studied Liberal Studies and completed her Master's of Arts in Theology both at Providence College.
