About Computer Science at SHC
Computer Science at SHC is offered to students in 10th through 12th grades as an elective in addition to their regular schedule. Classes are taught in a blended learning environment utilizing web-based programs and classroom instructional time to improve understanding of the digital world. Throughout the program, students are taught programming concepts and application of technology in society. Courses focus on skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and creation of programs. Courses offered include Computer Programming in Visual Basic, Robotics, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science in Java.
