SHC Welcomes Interim President Brother Ronald Gallagher, FSC

On behalf of the Daughters of Charity and the De La Salle Christian Brothers, SHC is pleased to announce that Brother Ronald Gallagher, FSC, will join our community as interim president. Former president of Saint Mary’s College of California, Brother Ronald is an experienced educator and accomplished administrator. Sister Marjory Ann Baez, DC, and Brother Donald Johanson, FSC share, "Brother Ronald serving in this role will preserve and reinforce the Lasallian Vincentian character of the school as the school transitions to a new permanent president."

After serving as SHC’s president for 15 years, John Scudder, Jr. ’73 will assist Brother Ronald in the area of Institutional Advancement during this transition year.

Sister Marjory Ann and Brother Donald share their enthusiasm, "We are extremely grateful to both Brother Ronald Gallagher and John Scudder for their generous acceptance of these responsibilities as we continue to serve the students and families who make up the SHC community. We have confidence that with this leadership team and God’s grace, SHC will continue to be an exemplary expression of our Catholic, Vincentian and Lasallian mission."
