SHC Presidential Search

Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory has begun the search process for its next president. The firm Educational Directions Inc. (EDI) has been selected to lead a nationwide search. EDI recently released the Candidate Information Document, which offers information about SHC, the role of the president, and details regarding the candidate process.

Search Chair Rev. John J. Piderit, S.J. shared details regarding the process in his update to the SHC community, "Over the next months, EDI will be identifying and evaluating top prospects from those who apply. Their goal is to identify a group of top-level candidates and then narrow that number down to five to seven individuals with whom the Search Committee will conduct interviews. From that group will come three finalists. Our calendar calls for identification and engagement of the next President of SHC to be completed by the end of February 2018. Following the announcement of the new President, there will be an organized transition process, culminating with the new President commencing work on or about July 1, 2018."
