Andy Liang Named Head Boys Tennis Coach

Sacred Heart Cathedral Athletics is pleased to announce Andy Liang as its new Head Boys Tennis Coach. Teaching and coaching tennis for more than a decade, Liang brings a vast breadth of experience to the position. He currently serves as the Head Junior Varsity coach in the SHC Girls Tennis Program in addition to working as a private tennis instructor throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to these roles, Liang served as a junior tennis coach in the Sacramento area and as a tennis instructor with ANTS Tennis in San Francisco, an organization that teaches tennis in elementary schools. Liang earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Athletic Coaching from San Francisco State University, and brings both an educational background and years of experience to the Sacred Heart Cathedral boys tennis program. LIang is a skilled and knowledgeable coach whose patience and thoughtful attention to detail helps his student-athletes progress as players and develops their love for the game of tennis. “I would love to get more kids interested in tennis at an early age, and I hope to grow interest at Sacred Heart Cathedral while building a fun and competitive program.” In addition to coaching, Liang also serves as an Instructor of Mathematics at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
