LOTE Decks the Halls

SHC’s Languages Other Than English Department has many reasons to celebrate their students’ successes this holiday season. Over the course of this semester, LOTE juniors participated in nearly 3,000 hours of service-learning. AP Spanish and AP Mandarin both garnered a 100 percent pass rate for the 2014 College Board Advanced Placement Tests. SHC’s One School, One Book selection of Breaking Through was very timely with the recent talk from Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas. To further celebrate their accomplishments, the LOTE Department decked the halls with festive holiday decor!
