Community Learning Partnerships

The Community Learning Partnerships (CLP) program facilitates opportunities for SHC students to expand their learning beyond the classroom.

The program’s goal is to establish working relationships with local technology, financial, medical and biomedical companies, visual and performing arts organizations, city government, and social services organizations. Besides contributing to these organizations, CLP internships, externships, mentorships, volunteer opportunities, field trips provide students with

  • Exposure to different career possibilities
  • On-campus master teacher mentoring and lectures
  • Opportunities to foster and develop entrepreneurial skills
  • Development of practical communication skills
  • Real-world applications of classroom learning

CLP students explore their interests while sharing the school motto with our generous community partners, so they can continue to Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.
