La Salle Academy
The La Salle Academy is a series of one-week enrichment courses for motivated students entering the 5th and 6th grades in the fall of 2013. These courses are specifically designed for students to explore exciting topics not typically offered at their grade level, and to collaborate with others who share a similar intellectual curiosity. Weeks will be filled with project-based assignments, labs, and field trips. Courses will run from 9 am–3 pm daily with a lunch break from noon–1 pm.
Please note that these courses are NOT for students interested in traditional grade level reinforcement or grade recovery. Students must be motivated to learn in a project-based, collaborative learning environment in order to have a meaningful experience in the La Salle Academy.
Cost: $350/course, $275 for Animal Science (lunch included)
