In this one week course, students will learn how to design and build a large scale construction project. This will be a hands on course using power tools, welding, metal fabrication, and electrical engineering in SHC’s Sister Caroline Collins, DC, Theater Shop. Our focus will be on learning how to build with confidence and safety. No prior building and fabrication experience is necessary.

Cost: 

  • $325 by the “Early Bird” deadline of April 19, 2017
  • $375 after April 19, 2017

Ages: Students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades in the fall of 2017

Mahoney, Tim

Mr. Tim Mahoney is the Technical Theater Director at SHC. He has worked for over 13 years in the theater and has worked in both professional theater and community theater all over the Bay Area. He has over 30 years experience in both the computer design and construction industries. He is focused on teaching students all aspects of building, from soldering electronics to major construction and engineering.IMG_9553
