Fightin' Irish Sports Academy
The Fightin’ Irish Sports Academy is a series of intensive sports camps designed to advance the skills of motivated student athletes ages 8-14. Instructed by SHC's top coaching staff and current student-athletes, the Academy will prepare aspiring athletes for their upcoming school sports seasons while allowing them to compete and have fun with students that share their passion for a particular sport.
Sessions are typically one-week from 9 am-3 pm each day with a lunch break from noon to 1 pm (daily lunch included). Each day, athletes will participate in morning skill building drills and activities, then compete in games and competitions in the afternoon sessions. Athletes will be grouped by age and ability to maximize their skill development.
Please note that each sport can accommodate a wide range of ages and abilities. Students must, however, be prepared to actively participate in the activities, games and competitions in order to maximize their experience in the Fightin' Irish Sports Academy.
Below is a list of sports and dates for the 2013 Fightin' Irish Sports Academy. Click on the links below for detailed Academy information.
