Students Dig Beneath the Surface

7/15/2010
Through hands-on activities, labs, field trips, and dissections, campers learned about marine organisms from small invertebrates, such as the sand crabs at Ocean Beach, to the largest vertebrate to ever roam the planet, the blue whale. Camp concluded with a trip to the Aquarium of the Bay where students interacted with many of the species of fish and sharks that they learned about and dissected in the classroom. A special thank you to SHCP parent John Sollini for supplying organisms to dissect.
