Fightin' Irish Lacrosse Academy

Cost: $275 (lunch included)
The Fightin' Irish Lacrosse Academy will offer instruction for boys and girls in the fundamental stick skills and field skills of lacrosse, the fastest growing sport in the country! Campers will be introduced to the basic rules and positions of the game and learn how to cradle, catch and pass with a lacrosse stick. The morning session will focus on individual stick work, footwork and positioning, followed by team activities, games and scrimmages in the afternoon. Campers will be separated by gender and ability to maximize the camp experience. Campers are expected to bring their own equipment, however, limited equipment is available for first time players. Academy Director - Tiffany Basilio
Tiffany Basilio is in her first year as Head Coach of the Girls Lacrosse program at SHC, after serving as an assistant coach for two years. She played lacrosse at UC Davis, where she earned her degree in Exercise Science. Prior to taking over SHC's Girls Lacrosse program, she held coaching positions at Davis Senior High School, St. Ignatius and UC Davis (club). She has over seven years of coaching experience and is a US Lacrosse Level 1 certified coach.
