Parent Gateway to SHC Today

At Sacred Heart Cathedral parents play an important role in the academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of their child. As members of the Parents Association, parents partner with the school and are involved in the full spectrum of student life at SHC. This involvement includes participating in events such as the Father Son BBQ, Mother Daughter Spa Night, Superbowl Crab Feed, Spring Gala, athletic and cocurricular activities, family service days and other community life events.

Student Athletes

Junior Athletes

There will be a NCAA workshop held next Tuesday in the Library at lunch. IF you are a junior who plans to play college sports, you need to attend this workshop to register for the clearinghouse.

Student Athletes

We will have on-campus Pre-participation Physical Exams on Tuesday, June 4 after Finals starting at 1:30pm. The cost is $25 per student and it’s by appointment ONLY. So far only a handful of students have signed-up. Take advantage of this opportunity and you'll be all set for summer workouts and fall try-outs! Friday, May 31 is the DEADLINE to sign up, pay and submit forms. Please see Mr. Melero or Ms. Terbeek in the athletic training room to sign up or for more information.

Many senior retreat veterans will tell you Kairos was the highlight of their SHC career. Sign up now for your Kairos experience. Your application form is on the Community Life link of the SHC website. There are five retreat dates to choose from, including one in June that is specifically designed for those of you with impacted school year schedules that include multiple AP classes, athletic teams, VPA performances, etc. Please see Mr. Bergen or Mr. Schmitz if you have any questions.
