Camp Cardiac

Camp Cardiac is a 1-week summer day camp that is open to high school students (including seniors) who are interested in exploring careers in medicine.  See Mr. Farrell for more info.

Student Athletes

We will have on-campus Pre-participation Physical Exams on Tuesday, June 4 after Finals starting at 1:30pm.   The cost is $25 per student and it’s by appointment ONLY.  So far only a handful of students have signed-up.  Take advantage of this opportunity and you'll be all set for summer workouts and fall try-outs!  Friday, May 31 is the DEADLINE to sign up, pay and submit forms. Please see Mr. Melero or Ms. Terbeek in the athletic training room to sign up or for more information.

Seniors

As you cleanse out your personal lockers, take time to PAUSE. We will be having a supply drive tomorrow.  All reusable items will be donated to students in need in the Bay Area.  Please look for bins for a WIN/WIN

Shield the Vulnerable

All students need to check their SHCP email.  There are a handful of you who have not completed the mandatory safe and sacred places modules. Check your emails to ensure you get all the info you need to successfully complete this work!

Womens Golf

On Thursday of this week, May 23rd, there will be meeting for those girls that want to go out for the Sacred Heart Cathedral golf team in the fall.  The meeting will be directly after school in Room 105.

Softball

All girls who played softball this year need to attend a short meeting on Thursday, May 23rd at 2:40pm in Room 402.  Information about the awards banquet will be given out.  JV players should bring and turn in their uniforms.

Summer Internship

Any students interested in interning for a social media and marketing internship, please email or see Mrs. Wilson. It's a great opportunity if you are an ambitious, creative, tech-savvy high school student!

Junior Athletes

Junior athletes, there is another workshop today, Wednesday 5/22 at lunch in the Library. Please be in the Library at the beginning of lunch if you are a junior who plans to play college sports. See you there. Mrs. Wilson

LVY

If you attended one reflection, one food outreach and the community BBQ, you will be listed as an official member of LVY for this semester. Please email or Schoology message Mr. Farrell with the dates you did the reflection and the food outreach and the time of your shift at then community BBQ so he can make sure you get on the list.

Were you a participant in Kairos III? If so, please pick up your commemorative photo and music CD from either your small group leader or Mr. Schmitz. It is Kai-riffic!

Student Athletes

If you received a sports physical at UCSF on Saturday, May 4, please submit the forms to Mr. Melero or Ms. Terbeek in the athletic training room ASAP!  We cannot update coaches of your participation status until we have them on file.  Please hand deliver the forms.

 Junior Athletes

There will be a NCAA workshop held tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Library at lunch.  IF you are a junior who plans to play college sports, you need to attend this workshop to register for the clearinghouse.

Senior Seminar meeting for Juniors

The meeting for juniors taking Senior Seminar class next year will be Tuesday right after school in the Dining Hall. Those juniors enrolled in the class who will be on a  field trip should plan to attend a make-up meeting after school on Thursday.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Tyhana Cooper, Edward Lampkin, and Juliette Alliaume who have all qualified for Friday night's CCS Finals. Only the best of the best in the CCS will be there, competing for a top 3 finish that will qualify them on for State.  Also, special congratulations to Tyhana Cooper who signed a NCAA letter of intent to attend Sacramento State next year.  And to Ebony McKeever, who was awarded the Elwood China Lang Memorial Scholarship by the SF Prep Hall of Fame.
