Arts

SHC’s Visual & Performing Arts Program engages hundreds of students ready to share their creative talents. We support the arts as an integral aspect of holistic education and give every student the chance to discover her or his passion.

Our state-of-the-art Sister Caroline Collins, DC, Theater opened in October 2010 and is just one of the venues in which our world-renowned chorus and theatre programs thrive. VPA alumni are seen on TV, in films and on Broadway. Our budding instrumental band and dance programs perform and compete nationwide. The digital photography program continues to grow, capturing the eye of many talented students.

Visual & Performing Arts Chair and Director of Instrumental Music Ted Allen, Director of Music Christian Bohm, and Director of Drama Francine Torres-Kelly, work tirelessly to bring out the best in each gifted and eager student. The talents of these instructors show through every student performance.
