Shadow Program

If you are an 8th grade student considering enrollment, spend a day with us to experience SHC firsthand. You will be paired with a student ambassador who will take you through a day in the life of a student here. You will quickly understand what makes SHC so unique. You will interact directly with our engaging, enthusiastic teachers and get to mingle with our warm student community. 

Shadow Program registration will be available on this page of the website on August 30 at noon. See below for a list of dates and times for this year's program. Please be aware that our Shadow Program was completely full by mid-September last year, so early sign ups are encouraged if you would like to guarantee a visit.

Prior to registration, we strongly encourage you to check your calendar, most notably for standardized testing days at your grammar school, to assure that there are no conflicts with your selected shadow date. SHC cannot guarantee a replacement shadow date if a visit is cancelled.

2012 Shadow Program Dates and Times

Due to SHC's rotating block schedule, Shadow Visit times will vary. Visits will either be from 8:00 am-12:45 pm or from 8:00 am-12:15 pm each day. The times for each visit will be noted on the registration forms published on August 30.

September - 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27

October - 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30

November - 2, 5, 7, 13, 15, 16, 19, 20
